On the afternoon of January 15, 2018, led by Deputy Director Ye of Wuxi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), Zhu Yu’an, Deputy Director of the Directors and Supervisors Management Center of Wuxi, and Zhou Tong, Deputy Director of the Development and Planning Office of Wuxi SASAC, a panel visited the headquarters of National Development Metal Resources in Shanghai for inspection, in order to have a full understanding of the operational risk management model of commodity trading enterprises. Managing Director Mr. Luo Jin, CEO Mr. Huang Jun, and Executive General Manager Mr. Zou Lei of Wuxi National Development Metal Resources, showed the panel around the company and delivered a report.
Leaders of Wuxi SASAC visited the headquarters, and saw the work environment. The staff demonstrated the workflow of various departments proficiently to Deputy Director Ye. Then at the company’s conference room, all leaders listened to the report delivered by General Manager Zou on the implementation of the company’s business, as well as detailed explanations from heads of all departments on the operation flow of each section. The Head of the Risk Control Department explained in detail to the leaders the functions and specific operating processes of the department, and professionally interpreted the significance of the risk control to an enterprise by introducing the cross supervision in every department system.
During the over-an-hour ardent communication, through the detailed introduction of risk control and management in each section, we gave attendees a comprehensive presentation of Wuxi National Development Metal Resources on the rigorous attitude and measures in risk control and management. Through communication, the leaders of Wuxi SASAC and the Group’s investment leaders had a further understanding of the operation flow of commodity trade carried out by Wuxi National Development Metal Resources, and the way of enterprises to prevent and control the risks in the operation, providing the basis for scientific decision-making of relevant business in the future
After learning about that the commodity risk control system designed and developed by Wuxi National Development Metal Resources Team has been put into use with steady operation and effective functions in preventing and controlling risks in business, Deputy Director Ye praised achievements we made in risk control technology, and encouraged us to continue promoting the research and development of the system. It is hoped that we can provide the enterprise with a fuller range of functions, such as risk control, enterprise financial management and audit, and provide support for the steady development of other business lines to grab more market share and even dominate the market
